About Us
MadVue was born after a Vue.js developer and an event organizer had a conversation and decided to work together.
Israel Ortuño, co-founder of VueJobs and passionate web developer, spent years building with Vue.js and connecting developers across the community.
Itziar Tros, CEO of Horia, brings years of experience in event management and marketing. More than a decade of knowledge in organizing from small meetups to large conferences.
Our Story
After collaborating on several editions of VueToronto helping our friends Jilson and Albin, in 2024, we looked at each other and thought: "Why not bring this to Spain?"
Luckily, the pieces were already in place. Israel's deep knowledge of the Vue.js ecosystem and Itziar's experience in event management made the decision easy. We had the vision, the skills, and the passion, and now, in 2026 we are already working on the second edition of MadVue.
Our Mission
Our mission with MadVue is to create a conference where every one matters and serves as a meeting point for the entire Vue.js community in Spain. A space where developers, sponsors, speakers, and collaborators can learn, share ideas, and connect with each other.
